The Bend – Clare Logan
Taking inspiration from her forays into New Zealand’s mountainous wilderness, Clare Logan creates layered, flowing, abstract oil paintings. In The Bend Logan explores what might lie at the inflection point between the physical and that which is felt, perceived, or remembered – inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the strange and beguiling spaces of her works. There is delight in the feast of textural details and intuitive movement as they are revealed in the bodies of her paintings, enigmatic and gleaming.
