City Art Depot provides custom crating and packaging for the transportation of artworks and other fragile objects. Crates are made using timber-battened plywood exterior housing and an inner support system of shaped and fitted foam to ensure secure support during shipment. We hold ISPM15 certification, the internationally required biosecurity specification, allowing our crates to be shipped internationally. City Art Depot can also manage freight, customs and insurance requirements for overseas transportation.
We also provide less expensive packaging solutions for courier shipment within New Zealand and check-in baggage for international flights.
