Rupert Travis is an Ōtautahi Christchurch based artist who recently completed a Master of Fine Arts at the University of Canterbury. Exploring parallels between medium-and-materiality and subject matter, his compositions engage a mix of collected images and staged setups, breaking up everyday scenes and reconstructing them within a lyrical dreamscape.
